A group of individuals, some dressed in military and police uniforms, stormed the Cantonments residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on Tuesday afternoon.

The raid took place while Ofori-Atta was reportedly out of the country, receiving medical treatment in the United States since the start of 2025. Family members, including his wife, were present during the unsettling incident.

Eyewitness accounts reveal that about 12 individuals were involved—five in military uniforms, one in a police uniform, and the rest in plain clothes. The purpose of the raid remains unknown.

Sources confirm the group entered the property, but it is yet to be verified if any items were taken. No official statement has been issued by authorities concerning the incident.
