Award-winning Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly pledged to stay faithful, stating he has no intention of cheating again.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club podcast, Davido opened up about his tumultuous personal life, revealing how his past experiences shaped his new commitment to monogamy.
Reflecting on the complexities of polygamous relationships, Davido shared insights from his uncles’ marriages, explaining, “My uncle, who’s a governor, has two wives. Another uncle had multiple wives living together, but despite all the wealth, there was still ‘wahala.’ I’d rather live like my friends and avoid that drama. Sometimes, experience is the best teacher.”
With five children from four women, Davido emphasized his desire to avoid further complications, saying, “I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I don’t want any wahala.”
