Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has spoken out about the pain he endured during the Akufo-Addo administration after prophesying that John Mahama would return as Ghana’s President.

Prophet Gaisie revealed that the backlash from the NPP over the prophecy nearly pushed him to suicide.

In an emotional interview with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio, Gaisie shared the toll it took on his life, describing how he lost a house, was abandoned by friends, and faced rejection from members of his church, including two judges who were pressured to stop attending.

He expressed the deep distress caused by the NPP’s actions, calling it a period of unnecessary hardship for him and the church.

Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio on the Ghana Se Sen Show he recalled how his life unraveled in the aftermath of his prophecy.

“I never had it easy. As a young man, dedicated to my faith, they tore me down. I lost my home, and even two judges who attended my church were pressured to stop,” he said.

The prophet criticized the past NPP government for the suffering they inflicted on both him and his church, adding, “Never should such people hold positions in Ghana’s political offices again.”

He is now calling for an apology from the NPP for the pain they caused him over the last eight years.

“We are human beings with families, not perfect, but we don’t deserve to be vilified or have our work destroyed,” Gaisie continued.

“The NPP shattered lives and crushed spirits. We are human beings with families, wives, and friends. We aren’t perfect, but when someone makes a mistake, they should face the law—not be vilified or have their work destroyed. Kwame, everything I had is ruinedall because I Prophesized that Mahama would be president again, as revealed to me by God. I pray Superintendent Asare seeks forgiveness for the verbal abuse I endured during my multiple arrests.”

Gaisie also advised the NDC and John Mahama to avoid repeating the NPP’s mistakes by not attacking the church or individuals unfairly.
