Hasaacas Player Perishes in NDC Victory Celebration

Sekondi Hasaacas forward, Kwabena Baidoo, tragically lost his life in a fatal motorcycle accident on Monday, December 9th, while celebrating the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) victory in the 2024 general elections.
The accident occurred in the Ellembelle District of the Western Region.
Baidoo had recently returned to Ghana from Accra, where he was awaiting an opportunity to continue his football career abroad.
As a responsible citizen, Baidoo had participated in the elections on Friday, December 6th.
Following the NDC’s victory, he joined in the celebratory festivities, which unfortunately led to the fatal accident.
Though Baidoo hasn’t played for Hasaacas this season, he was a key member of the team between 2020 and 2023.
