Hudson Meek, the 16-year-old actor known for his role in Baby Driver, tragically passed away after falling from a moving vehicle in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on December 19.

The young actor, who had made his mark in films and TV shows like MacGyver, succumbed to his injuries two days later, confirmed the Jefferson County coroner.

Meek, who had a bright future ahead, was deeply involved in his community, playing football, studying the Bible with teammates, and traveling to all 50 states.

A beloved figure among his friends and family, he was also passionate about music, snow skiing, and choir. His family will hold a funeral and memorial service this Saturday, which will be livestreamed on his Instagram account.

The Vestavia Hills Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
