Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly lining up a move for Black Stars forward Inaki Williams as they prepare for life after Victor Osimhen, whose departure appears increasingly likely at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Williams has emerged as a key target for the Istanbul-based club once Osimhen’s loan deal expires. The Nigerian striker has been in sensational form this season, scoring 30 goals and providing seven assists in 35 matches across all competitions.
His performances have drawn interest from clubs in the English Premier League, including Manchester United, as well as top sides in the Saudi Pro League.
Williams, currently starring for Athletic Bilbao, has had an impressive campaign of his own. The 30-year-old netted his 11th goal of the season in Bilbao’s 1-0 victory over Las Palmas in La Liga on Wednesday, April 23. His 11th-minute strike earned him the Man of the Match honor in what was a standout performance.
In total, the Spanish-born Ghanaian has contributed 11 goals and nine assists in 46 appearances across all competitions this season, reinforcing his value as a consistent and versatile attacking threat.
With Osimhen’s exit looming, Galatasaray see Williams as a fitting addition to bolster their forward line heading into the next campaign.
