- Assures constituents in Ejura Sekyedumase of fair and equal enforcement of laws for all citizens
- Promises development and safety
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate, has strongly denied allegations that his administration would permit Fulani herdsmen to harm Ghanaian farmlands.
He attributed these claims to propaganda from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), aimed at inciting fear by suggesting that his presidency would foster lawlessness among the Fulbe people, who are related to him by marriage.
During a campaign stop in Ejura Sekyedumase on November 13, 2024, Dr. Bawumia assured voters that he is committed to enforcing the law fairly for all citizens.
“The NDC is spreading false claims that I would allow Fulanis to destroy farmlands, but that’s purely propaganda. Under my leadership, such actions will never be tolerated,” he stated, emphasizing that anyone found violating the law will face consequences.
Dr. Bawumia urged constituents to reject these rumors, promising development and accountability if given their support.
