A 20-year-old woman, Esther Amoh Blankson, is hospitalized in critical condition after being severely beaten by her own father in Twifo Praso.
The incident occurred after Esther broke into her home at 3 AM to gain entry, as her father had locked her out.
Suspecting his daughter of visiting her boyfriend, the father, Nana Amoh, refused to give her the keys and physically assaulted her upon her entry.
In addition to the beating, the father also stole Esther’s phone and cash.
The assault escalated into a brutal attack with an electrical cable, leaving Esther with severe injuries. While the father has admitted to the assault, he claims that Esther insulted him in front of his workers.
Despite the severity of the incident, no police report has been filed, and no formal charges have been brought against the father.
