In a candid remark, Kennedy Osei Nyarko, the Member of Parliament for Akim Swedru, expressed his disappointment over the lukewarm response from some voters towards the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 election.
Nyarko, who represents a constituency that has benefitted directly from the outgoing government’s policies, revealed that even individuals who had gained from initiatives like Free Senior High School (SHS) and new employment opportunities had to be persuaded to cast their votes.
This has left the disgruntled MP questioning the level of appreciation for the NPP’s contributions.
