Empty Promises, Full of Propaganda – Afenyo-Markin Slams NDC
Minority Leader accuses the ruling party of prioritizing political gimmicks over real governance, failing to deliver on key national issues.

Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of prioritizing propaganda over governance, claiming the party assumed office without a clear plan to address critical national issues.
Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday, he criticized the government for failing to deliver on key promises, including job creation, support for fisherfolk, and assistance for farmers.
“Mr. Speaker, it is very clear to us that our friends in government today were only interested in propaganda politics,” he asserted.
He further alleged that instead of driving development, the NDC has focused on political persecution, arresting opponents, and violating fundamental human rights.
Afenyo-Markin urged the government to abandon political witch-hunting and concentrate on solving the pressing challenges facing Ghanaians.
