Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah, known as the Warrior-Prophet and leader of the Nyametease Ampa Prayer Ministry in Kumasi, has broken his silence following the failure of his prophecy that NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the 2024 elections.

Despite the prophecy not coming to fruition, he has refused to apologize, stating that God had revealed it to him.

Speaking on Lawson TV/Radio during the Ghana Se Sen Morning Show with Kwame Tanko, the prophet maintained that he spoke the mind of God.

“I will never apologize. God told me and I saw it. I spoke the mind of God. It has strengthened and encouraged me, and has not discouraged me,” he emphasized.

Prophet Appiah acknowledged that some might label him a fake prophet but pointed out that similar accusations have been directed at others in the past, especially following failed prophecies regarding the 2012, 2016, and 2020 elections.

Although he admitted not fully understanding what transpired, he urged Ghanaians to be thankful for the peaceful outcome of the election, claiming that had the NPP won, the country might have faced conflict.

He assured his followers that despite the setback, he would continue to prophesy and return stronger.

The prophecy, which was made earlier this year, had predicted that Dr. Bawumia would emerge victorious, and even described the attire the Vice President and his potential running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, would wear on inauguration day, January 7, 2025.

However, after the polls on December 7, the Electoral Commission declared John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) the winner, securing 6,328,397 votes, while Dr. Bawumia garnered 4,657,304 votes.
