President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has affirmed that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is fully prepared to assume the mantle of leadership as Ghana’s next president.
During a meeting with Organised Labour on December 3, Akufo-Addo praised Bawumia’s extensive experience, citing his tenure as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, eight years in opposition, and another eight years in government.
“This man is well-prepared today to be president,” the president stated, urging voters to cast their ballots in favor of Dr. Bawumia for sustained development and progress.
He concluded with a rallying call: “On Saturday, when you go to cast your ballot, look closely at the elephant.”
