Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, widely known as Chairman COKA, has encouraged New Patriotic Party (NPP) members to stay strong and united after the party’s defeat in the 2024 elections.

Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Ghana Se Sen on Lawson TV/Radio, COKA reassured party supporters that the challenges they face are temporary, reminding them that God will protect them and bring them back stronger in 2028.

“Despite the setbacks, we view everything as a blessing. No one should be disheartened. God is hiding us now, but He will bring us back in 2028. Our miracle is coming,” he stated.

COKA also urged NPP members to enjoy the Christmas season, surrounded by family and loved ones, and to remain hopeful for the future.

The 2024 presidential election saw Former President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) triumph with 56.55% of the vote, defeating NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who received 41.61%. Mahama’s win also secured a parliamentary majority for the NDC, paving the way for his return to office.
