As the 2024 General Election approaches, Monsignor Dr. Lious Tuffour, Vicar General of the Catholic Archdiocese of Kumasi, has a crucial message for politicians.
Speaking on the inaugural episode of the Ghana Se Sen Morning Show with host Kwame Tanko, Monsignor Dr. Lious Tuffour emphasized the importance of honesty in political campaigns, particularly for presidential and parliamentary candidates.
He urged politicians to incorporate integrity into their campaigns, stating that they should focus on truthfulness rather than spreading lies about opponents.
“Politicians should abide by the golden rule and remember that it is God who decides who becomes a leader,” he remarked, encouraging them to respect differing opinions.
He also passionately warned supporters from all political parties against accepting bribes or money that could incite violence during the election period.
