Christmas Tragedy: Bus Accident in Cape Coast Kills Three, Injures 23

Three lives were lost in a tragic bus accident near the Aggrey Memorial School in Cape Coast on Friday morning.
The bus, en route from Takoradi to Accra with registration number GW 6231-21, overturned at an intersection, trapping several passengers.
The accident, which occurred around 6:48 a.m., involved approximately 53 passengers. Emergency responders, including the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), police, and ambulance personnel, swiftly intervened to rescue the injured.
Twenty-three individuals with varying degrees of injuries are receiving treatment at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, while nine others were treated and discharged. Sadly, three passengers succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
