The National Chief Imam, Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, has urged Muslims to reject lawlessness and focus on virtuous actions during the 2025 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic month of fasting, and is one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar.

During his address at the celebration, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu, the spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, emphasized that this special occasion calls for lives led with discipline and integrity.

“On a day like today, we must avoid lawlessness and focus on virtuous deeds. By doing so, we will witness the beauty of unity and collectively proclaim, ‘Glory and Mercy be to Allah,'” he said.

Sheikh Shaibu continued, “In unison, we will praise and magnify Allah, saying ‘Alhamdulillah’—all thanks and praises belong to Him. We declare ‘Allahu Akbar,’ for He is most great, and there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone.”
