A shooting incident in Nyankpala, located in the Tolon constituency of the Northern Region, has left one person dead, according to sources.
The shooting, believed to be connected to allegations of vote-buying, reportedly occurred after a heated confrontation between the Northern Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alhaji Rashid Salifu, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate, Dr. Osman Tahiru Damba.
