The Paramount Chief of the Goaso Traditional Area, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, has passed away.

His demise was announced by Otumfuo Kyeame Antwi Boasiako during the Asanteman Council meeting on December 16, 2024, according to report.

Nana Bosomprah, who had been unwell for some time, was an outspoken critic of the current government and state institutions, including the Electoral Commission of Ghana. He gained national attention after publicly weeping over the lack of development in Goaso and boldly chastising chiefs and pastors for not addressing the country’s challenges truthfully.

The chief’s passing leaves a significant void in Goaso, especially as he was actively involved in mediating critical cases like the Tanoso Stool Affairs.

Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, installed as Goasomanhene in 2008, will be remembered as a fearless advocate for his people and a champion for progress in the traditional area.
