The 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, Founder and General Overseer of Alive Chapel International, has been sentenced to six months at a senior correctional center following a tragic road accident in East Legon.

The teenager pleaded guilty to eight charges, including two counts of manslaughter, after a crash that claimed the lives of two preteens.

Prosecutors revealed that he was showing off the speed of his parents’ Jaguar F-Pace Sport when it collided with another vehicle.

Before his sentencing, the boy was remanded at the Osu Correctional Centre while awaiting trial. Despite initially pleading not guilty, he admitted to his role in the tragic incident, leading to the sentencing.

The crash has also led to the arrest and bail of Bishop Salifu Amoako, his wife, Mouha Amoako, and Linda Bonsu Prempeh, who allegedly provided the car key. They face charges of “permitting an unlicensed person to drive,” all pleading not guilty.
