La Liga leaders Barcelona were held to a dramatic 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo, conceding twice in just two minutes after Marc Casado was sent off late in the match.

Barcelona took the lead through captain Raphinha, whose 13th goal of the season came after a strong run into the box, finishing coolly past the goalkeeper.

Celta Vigo responded well throughout the game, with Iago Aspas appealing for a penalty just before halftime after being brought down in the box by Gerard Martin, who had already been booked.

However, the referee waved away the claims, and Aspas was yellow-carded for protesting the decision.

Barcelona seemed to have secured the win when Raphinha, who had earlier struck the post, turned provider for Robert Lewandowski, who netted his 15th La Liga goal of the season.

But the match took a dramatic turn in the 82nd minute when Casado received a second yellow card and was sent off. Two minutes later, Alfon Gonzalez pulled one back for Celta Vigo, and in the 86th minute, Hugo Alvarez scored to level the game at 2-2, securing a well-earned point for the hosts.

Real Madrid now have the chance to cut Barcelona’s lead at the top of the table to four points if they win against Leganes on Sunday.
