The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has promised that the incoming NDC government will revoke all last-minute promotions and appointments made by the departing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.
Addressing a victory rally in Sunyani, Berekum, and Seikwa, Nketiah criticized the NPP for issuing appointment letters and promoting public officials as a final attempt to maintain control. He expressed skepticism about the motivations behind these moves, suggesting they were aimed at covering up mismanagement within government institutions.
Nketiah also issued a warning to those allegedly involved in manipulating election results, including government-affiliated security personnel. He reassured NDC supporters that the party’s leadership is tackling the situation and encouraged them to remain composed.
His remarks underscored the NDC’s commitment to accountability and transparency in governance.
