In an interview on November 4, Pyne shared his optimism for the NPP’s success in the region, pointing to the overwhelming enthusiasm and genuine support Bawumia has garnered during his visits. He emphasized that the grassroots support for the NPP’s vision and for Bawumia’s leadership is undeniable.
“People are turning up in large numbers, leaving their homes just to meet the Vice President. That is not fanfare; it’s real, heartfelt support,” Pyne remarked. With over three decades of political experience, including 12 years as the regional secretary, Pyne believes he can read the mood of the people.
“This is genuine support,” he continued. “Dr. Bawumia will be the next President of Ghana come January 2025, and I am certain that millions will turn out to vote for the NPP.”
