Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has earnestly called on Ghanaians to refrain from violence before, during, and after the December polls.

During an appearance on “Ghana Se Sen” with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio in Kumasi, the Minister reiterated the critical importance of peace, urging that it should never be undermined.

He emphasized that as the country approaches the elections, citizens should prioritize peace over violence.

“The welfare and lives of Ghanaians must never be sacrificed for political ambitions,” he stated.

Hon. Osei Mensah underscored the need for all political actors to focus on maintaining peace and stability throughout the electoral process.

“I think about the country a lot, but my main focus is on the Region,” he concluded.
