Armed Attacker Nabbed by Police in Mamobi NPP-NDC Clash
Fatawu Ibrahim, aka "Fatau Motorway," arrested after viral video shows him brandishing firearm during political clashes

The Ghana Police Service has arrested Fatawu Ibrahim, known as “Fatau Motorway,” in connection with the violent skirmish between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Mamobi, Accra, on October 13, 2024.
Ibrahim was seen on video brandishing a firearm during the altercation, which resulted in two people being shot and injured.
This widely circulated footage helped authorities identify and locate him.
He is currently in police custody and will soon appear in court, as investigations continue to uncover more details about the incident.
