Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has set the record straight about rumors of a feud with fellow actor Kofi Adu, aka Agya Koo.
Speaking on the Ghana Se Sen Show with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio on December 19, 2024, Lil Win emphasized that the supposed rivalry is a mere creation of the public.
He hailed Agya Koo as a legend in the Ghanaian movie industry, deserving of all the respect and honor he receives.
Lil Win further clarified that there is no ill will between him and fellow actor Kwaku Manu, and any rumors suggesting otherwise are baseless.
“We don’t hang out together often, but when we meet at ceremonies, I approach him to show respect. I don’t pay attention to what people say,” Lil Win explained.
He also mentioned that whenever he hears negative things about him from fellow actors, he personally reaches out to them to understand the truth.
Agya Koo, who was also interviewed on Lawson TV/Radio on November 8, 2024, also dismissed any claims of conflict.
He pointed out that such rumors are a natural part of the industry but affirmed that he and Lil Win share a strong bond. Reflecting on their early days, Agya Koo shared how he encouraged the inclusion of a young Lil Win on set, recognizing his potential to become a star.
He further likened their situation to past rumors about other famous Ghanaian figures, emphasizing that there was never any real tension between them.
In a separate conversation, Lil Win opened up about the struggles he faced when starting in the movie industry, recalling harsh criticism from a producer and colleagues who doubted his talent and appearance.
Despite facing financial challenges and unpaid dues, Lil Win remained resilient, stating that he never let money influence his passion for acting.
“Even when I haven’t been paid, I never complained,” he revealed.
