As Ghana approaches its December 7 general election, Fraud Prevention Expert, Security Consultant and Analyst, Richard Kumadoe has unveiled essential Security & Safety guidelines for voters.
These tips are designed to help voters stay safe, particularly at polling stations and collation centers.
Here are the key recommendations:
a) avoid quarrelsome individuals and groups.
b) avoid carrying weapons or associate with groups with weapons, unless, they have been authorised by the state to do so.
c) avoiding collecting, and receiving drinkable and eateries from people, especially strangers.
d) avoiding fighting or arguing with other voters, and election officers unnecessary, especially, those arguments that involves loud voices, and are centered around partisanship.
e) Be calm, focus, and vote for your preferred parliamentary and presidential candidates, and almost, turn yourself into a process and procedural monitoring and observatory duty officer, celebrate when you win, and pray for better luck next time, when you did not win.
