The NDC parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, was allegedly attacked by suspected NPP thugs at Adjakaamanso in the Western Region.
The incident occurred while her campaign team was returning from a rally, and their vehicle was reportedly intercepted and damaged.
The attackers were allegedly linked to Dr. Albert Wiredu, the NPP parliamentary candidate for the constituency.
Although the motive behind the attack remains unclear, Team Joana Gyan Cudjoe has filed an official complaint with the Wassa Dominase police, urging further investigation.
