John Dramani Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has advised the Minority MPs to resist any efforts by the Majority group to recall Parliament ahead of the December 7 general elections.

The Majority had recently petitioned Speaker Alban Bagbin to reconvene the House, citing urgent government matters after the Parliament’s adjournment on November 7.

Mahama, addressing NDC supporters in Ellembelle, Western Region, firmly stated that the Minority would not participate in parliamentary activities until after the elections.

He emphasized that the party’s focus is solely on securing a win in the upcoming polls.

He remarked, “Let them go if they want, but we will continue our campaign. NDC MPs, don’t go. The real Majority will be evident on election day, December 7.”
