President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a capable and prepared leader, ready to propel Ghana to new heights.
Addressing professional groups in Kumasi on Sunday, November 24, the president called on Ghanaians to back Dr. Bawumia’s presidential bid, citing his proven experience and visionary leadership.
Akufo-Addo underscored the strategic importance of the Ashanti Region in securing electoral victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), urging voters to avoid the pitfalls of 2008 when the party lost power. He juxtaposed Dr. Bawumia’s readiness with former President John Dramani Mahama’s track record, asserting that Mahama’s administration was a “failed presidency” that denied him a second term.
With Election 2024 on the horizon, Akufo-Addo emphasized that Ghana’s future progress hinges on rallying behind Dr. Bawumia for a decisive victory.
