A dramatic incident occurred late Sunday night when a bus from OA Transport Services, traveling from Accra to Techiman, caught fire near Nsawam along the Accra-Kumasi highway.
The event left passengers shaken and raised concerns about how the transport company managed the situation, particularly regarding the potential loss of personal belongings.
Initial reports indicate that the bus departed Accra around 9 p.m. and was carrying numerous passengers on the overnight journey to Techiman in the Bono East region.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported, as all passengers managed to evacuate safely.
In response to the incident, OA Transport Services arranged an alternative vehicle to transport the stranded passengers to Techiman.
However, many passengers expressed frustration over the company’s handling of the aftermath, citing a lack of communication and support regarding potential losses incurred during the fire.
