Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, the MP for Korle Klottey, has vowed to address the alarming rate of robberies in Adabraka with the Minister for National Security and other key authorities.
She expressed concern over the community’s safety, stating, “I will follow up with the Ministry of Interior and National Security regarding these incidents. We cannot assure residents of their safety without taking concrete steps.”
This latest incident marks the second robbery in less than four months in the same area.
Four masked men armed with guns on Saturday November 2, 2024 attacked a man in a red Toyota Corolla near a bustling market.
Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene as the assailants fired shots into the air, sending shoppers and vendors scrambling for cover.
The sounds of gunfire reverberated through the market, creating panic as people ducked behind stalls in search of safety.
Meanwhile, the police are currently searching for the gang of armed robbers who assaulted the jewelry store, injuring one person in the process.
The police assured the public, “We will bring these criminals to justice.”
