Former Black Stars legend, Rev. Osei Kofi, has strongly criticized the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for prioritizing business over the development of national teams and the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Kofi expressed deep concern over the GFA’s lack of focus on nurturing young talent and improving the domestic league.

He questioned the absence of the GFA President during crucial national team matches and argued that former players should be given more opportunities in football administration.

The retired footballer believes that the current administration has misplaced priorities, neglecting the core responsibilities of developing the sport and instead focusing on personal business interests.

He called for a renewed commitment to the national teams and the GPL to restore Ghana’s footballing glory.
