Dennis Miracle Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, has dismissed assertions that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has neglected the economy in favor of promoting digitalization.
Speaking on the Lawson TV/Radio Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, Miracles Aboagye argued that critics simply do not grasp economic fundamentals.
He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia has consistently addressed economic issues since 2017, asserting that digitalization is an integral part of economic strategy.
“Every single day since 2017, the Vice President has discussed the economy,” he stated.
Miracles Aboagye highlighted that stabilizing the economy requires tackling its foundational issues, a commitment that the Vice President and the Akufo-Addo administration are actively pursuing.
He pointed to initiatives like One District, One Factory and the Ghana Card as pivotal in revitalizing the economy.
”The One District, One Factory program has helped numerous companies thrive, while the Ghana Card initiative has streamlined processes, eliminating thousands of ‘ghost names’ and saving millions in the process,” he said
