NDC MP for Dormaa West, Hon. Oppong Asamoah, has taken aim at NPP’s parliamentary leader, Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin, following recent turmoil in Parliament.
Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV/Radio Ghana Se Sen Morning Show, Hon. Oppong Asamoah described Afenyo-Markin as arrogant, asserting that his financial success has led him to disregard collaboration with NDC MPs.
“Young man Afenyo-Markin has made so much money that he sees no need to compromise with us in Parliament,” he remarked.
Hon. Oppong Asamoah highlighted growing apathy among the NPP Minority, claiming that unity was stronger under former Majority Leader Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu than it is now under Afenyo-Markin.
”The NPP Minority today is experiencing so much apathy, and the situation has gotten out of Afenyo-Markin’s hands.”
