Prior to this appointment, Ing. Kpekpena was the Director of Engineering at ECG and later transitioned to the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA). He steps into this leadership role with the task of tackling operational inefficiencies and ensuring a stable power supply amidst ongoing privatization discussions.
Ing. David Asamoah, who had been serving as Acting Managing Director since September 26, 2024, following the resignation of Samuel Dubik Mahama, will hand over the reins. Before his role as Acting MD, Mr. Asamoah was ECG’s Deputy Managing Director in charge of Commercial Services.
The change in leadership signals a pivotal moment for ECG as it seeks to navigate complex challenges and chart a path toward improved efficiency and sustainability.
