The Minority Caucus in Parliament has reaffirmed its unwavering stance despite facing challenges, declaring that it will not succumb to intimidation.

This comes in response to what the caucus describes as deliberate attempts by the Majority to strong-arm them in parliamentary proceedings.

Speaking at a press conference on Monday, February 3, 2024, Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin underscored their resilience, emphasizing that their actions are guided by the national interest.

“Indeed, we are going through difficult moments, but we will never be intimidated. Aluta continua, victoria acerta. We will stand our ground and ensure that the right thing is done,” he asserted.

He further clarified that while the Minority remains resolute, they have no intention of disrupting government business, highlighting their commitment to cooperation in parliamentary affairs.
