The Ghana Police Service has announced the arrest of nine additional individuals in connection with the recent arson attack on the Electoral Commission office in Ayensuano, Eastern Region.
This brings the total number of suspects arrested for election-related disturbances to 106.
All suspects are currently in custody and are assisting with ongoing investigations into the violence and vandalism that followed the recent elections.
The attack on the Electoral Commission office is among several incidents of unrest that occurred after the elections.
The Police have been actively working to identify and apprehend those responsible, ensuring accountability for their actions.
Additionally, there were reports of individuals invading offices of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) and some terminals of Metro Mass Transit.
