After a decade of uncertainty, the Worawora Traditional Council in the Biakoye District of the Oti Region has installed Nana Yaw Sarfor Baah III as its new Paramount Chief, marking the dawn of a hopeful and unified future for the community.
The installation ceremony was a vibrant display of tradition, featuring cultural performances and the presence of both local residents and traditional leaders.
Nana Abena Sarfowaa Awerewa, the Queen Mother of the Worawora Traditional Council, urged the new chief to focus on fostering peace and spearheading development in the area.
She emphasized that the absence of a paramount chief for the past ten years had caused division and uncertainty, making it vital for the new leadership to bring the community together.
The approval of Nana Sarfor Baah III’s leadership is seen as a beacon of hope for Worawora, with expectations high for his role in uniting the people.
