The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya North on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Frank Yeboah, has confidently declared that the NPP will reclaim power in 2028.

Speaking on the Ghana Se Sen Morning Show on Lawson TV/Radio, Hon. Yeboah stated that while the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) may govern for a term, the NPP will make a strong comeback.

He acknowledged the NPP’s shortcomings in the 2024 elections, which led to their defeat, and noted that the party has formed a committee to investigate the loss. However, he assured that necessary measures would be taken to reorganize and position the party for victory in 2028.

“It is true that we didn’t do many things well, but if you stay in power for too long, you become nostalgic to the people, and they will vote you out,” he said.

Hon. Yeboah further expressed optimism that Ghanaians would grow disillusioned with the NDC, creating an opportunity for the NPP to return stronger and reclaim governance.

“Things may have been jeopardized, but we are restructuring and will come back stronger in 2028 to win,” he added.
