Paradise Mission Academy at Santa Mariah, a suburb of Accra has officially joined the highly competitive Perfect Series Contest, marking their debut in the prestigious academic competition.
Excitement filled the air as the headmistress, teachers, and learners warmly welcomed a team of organizers, led by Pastor Philip Sarpong, to their school premises.
In an interview with Lawson News, Headmistress Miss Felicia Gartey expressed her enthusiasm for the contest, emphasizing its role in providing exposure and experience for the students.
“We have never participated in this competition before, so this is our first time, and we are expecting nothing but the best. Our goal is to go far, reach the finals, and hopefully emerge as winners,” she stated confidently.
Miss Gartey also encouraged the learners to approach the contest with confidence, reassuring them that it is just like their regular school exams.
Teachers at the school echoed similar sentiments, commending the organizers for creating such an educational and skill-enhancing platform.
They highlighted that competitions like these uncover hidden talents and sharpen students’ academic abilities beyond the classroom.
“Our learners are not just brilliant in class but also excel beyond the learning environment. With the knowledge and skills they have acquired, we believe they will qualify for the finals and possibly clinch the ultimate prize,” one of the teachers remarked.
Meanwhile, the learners themselves were full of optimism after the auditions, with some confidently predicting a 100% score!
