President-elect John Dramani Mahama has urged all political parties involved in the 2024 elections to come together and contribute to Ghana’s transformation.

Speaking at the 31st all-night service at the Sanctuary of Wind and Fire Assemblies of God in Tamale on December 31, Mahama emphasized that national unity and collective effort are essential to address the country’s current challenges.

He highlighted the significance of faith and spiritual renewal, encouraging his future appointees to remain grounded as they prepare to serve the nation.

Mahama called for the inclusion of all political parties, including the National Democratic Congress, New Patriotic Party, New Force, Movement for Change, Convention People’s Party, People’s National Congress, and All People’s Congress, stressing that even those not affiliated with any party must join hands in the nation-building process.

Acknowledging that the election campaign is over, he urged for intensified prayer and fasting to seek divine guidance for Ghana’s renewal, likening the country’s current state to a crisis that requires collective action to restore it as “the black star of Africa once again.”
