To mark the 7th anniversary of the tragic passing of dancehall artiste Ebony Reigns, her family visited her gravesite at Osu Cemetery to pay their respects.

Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, affectionately known as Ebony Reigns, tragically lost her life in a car accident on February 8, 2018. Since her untimely demise, her family has upheld a yearly tradition of visiting her final resting place to honor her memory and celebrate her legacy.

In a video shared by 1957 News, Ebony’s father, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, alongside her mother and other family members, were seen dressed in symbolic black and white attire. Nana Opoku Kwarteng shared heartfelt words, saying, “Today marks 7 years since you left us, queen. It has become our ritual to honor you yearly, for you were and remain a queen we shall always adore, appreciate, and celebrate. Your legacy shall forever live on.”

The beloved “90s Bad Gyal” lost her life along with two others, Franky Kuri and Atsu Vondee, in a tragic accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road.

Despite her passing, Ebony’s impact on Ghana’s music industry remains unparalleled, and her memory continues to inspire fans and loved ones alike.
