The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on its supporters to exercise patience and refrain from premature celebrations as the collation of results for the 2024 general elections continues.
Addressing a press briefing, Sammy Gyamfi, NDC Communications Director, underscored the importance of vigilance and composure during this critical stage.
“On behalf of our leader, John Dramani Mahama, and the incoming president of Ghana, we urge every supporter to head to their constituency collation center and actively monitor proceedings. Protecting the integrity of the votes counted and declared at polling stations is your responsibility,” Gyamfi stated.
He further stressed that jubilation should be withheld until results are officially declared, urging party agents and representatives to remain focused, identify any irregularities, and uphold transparency throughout the process.
This reminder from the NDC comes as preliminary results generate heightened anticipation across the country.
