Two individuals, Sulema Abdullah Rashid and Issah Morro, have been remanded by the Gender-Based Violence Court in Sekondi after allegedly restraining and violently caning a 12-year-old boy.
The suspects appeared before Her Honour Mrs. Naa Armerley Akowuah, facing charges of child torture and causing harm.
Bail was denied, and they will remain in custody as investigations continue. The next hearing is set for July 10, 2025.
