Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), has refuted claims that the organisation has entered into a partnership with Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited (SML) to clean up the gold sector.

In a statement shared on Facebook on Thursday, May 15, Mr. Gyamfi vehemently dismissed the reports as baseless and urged the public to ignore them.

“Fake news alert: The Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) has no dealings, contract, partnership, or relationship whatsoever with SML. Any such claim is completely false and should be treated with utmost contempt,” he said.
