Sam George, the Minister-designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, has refused to retract his explosive claims that the Akufo-Addo government looted public funds, despite intense questioning from the Minority.

The nominee, who has been grilled with over 100 questions, including video and audio evidence presented by Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, stands by his controversial statement: “The Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government did not steal from the purse; they stole the purse itself.”

When pressed during his vetting, Sam George affirmed his position and requested time to submit over 700 scandals to back his assertions.

While Chairman Richard Ahiafor ruled that the evidence could not be presented orally, the Minority demanded a verbal presentation, which was denied.
