Sam George terminates Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Maafo’s appointment with immediate effect

- Osafo-Maafo ordered to hand over to the Acting Director General
- Will receive three months' salary in lieu of notice
- Termination letter signed by the Chief Director on February 14
The Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has dismissed Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Maafo from his role as Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority (NCA).
Mr. Osafo-Maafo has been instructed to hand over his responsibilities to the Acting Director General of the NCA. According to his appointment terms, he will receive three months’ salary in lieu of notice.
A letter signed by the Ministry’s Chief Director, Alexander Yaw Arphul, on February 14, officially communicated the termination, stating that the decision takes immediate effect. Minister Sam George also expressed gratitude for Osafo-Maafo’s service to the nation.
