President John Dramani Mahama has terminated COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah’s role as the Executive Director of the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
She has been directed to hand over and return to the Ghana Police Headquarters for reassignment.
This move is part of the government’s efforts to restructure EOCO, boost its efficiency, and address public concerns over its handling of high-profile financial crime cases.
COP Addo-Danquah’s deputy will temporarily oversee EOCO operations as a permanent replacement is sought.
