Police Officer and Four Family Members Killed in Fatal Accident at Yawkwei
The crash occurred when a speeding Toyota Corolla collided with a fully loaded cargo truck, claiming five lives, including a police officer and four family members.
A devastating crash in Yawkwei, located in the Asante Akyem South of the Ashanti region, has claimed the lives of five people, including a police officer.
The accident occurred around 1:00 pm today when a Toyota Corolla, with registration number GW 532-11, crashed into the rear of a fully loaded cargo truck.
According to reports the police officer, Adams Mohammed, was driving the vehicle, which was carrying four family members.
They were en route to the Juaso Court after their ward tragically drowned in a well, and the case was being heard at the court.
Sadly, four of the victims died at the scene, while one, in critical condition, was rushed to Steward Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
