Abosey Okai Methodist Basic School has officially joined the highly esteemed Perfect Series Basic Schools Assessment Contest.

The school’s audition took place on Monday, February 24, 2025, at its premises, marking a significant step toward academic excellence.

The contest, spearheaded by Pastor Philip Sarpong, CEO of Perfect Grade Publications & Stationery, is designed for Basic 4 to 6 pupils, assessing their knowledge based on the newly introduced NaCCA curriculum.

Speaking to Lawson News, the school’s headmistress, Mrs. Christina Anim Afere, expressed confidence in her pupils, emphasizing their discipline and strong academic performance.

She revealed that their decision to join was inspired by Mamprobi Salvation Army Basic A’s impressive showing in the maiden edition.

“We are not just participating—we are here to excel! I expect my learners to emerge as winners, and I know they will,” she declared.

Teachers also shared their optimism, affirming that the selected learners are well-prepared and will rise to the challenge.

Meanwhile, the participating students expressed excitement about the assessment, confident in their ability to secure high marks and make their school proud.
